Gnoma ("Gnoma," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered workout generation and interval-timer application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and an authentication credential (password or Google sign-in identifier).
- Workout content. The workout descriptions you type, the structured workouts we generate for you, and any workouts you save, favorite, or share.
- Baseline stats (optional). If you choose to use personalized programming, you may enter fitness data such as age, body weight, height, fitness level, strength one-rep maxes, and cardio benchmarks. This is health-adjacent information that you provide voluntarily, and you can edit or clear it at any time.
- Subscription & billing data. If you subscribe to Gnoma Rx, payment is processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status — we never receive or store your full card number.
- Usage data. We keep a monthly count of AI generations to enforce free-tier limits, along with basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
- To generate, save, and display your workouts.
- To personalize generated workouts using your Baseline Stats — but only if you are a Gnoma Rx subscriber and have entered stats.
- To process subscriptions and enforce free-tier usage limits.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted processors to run Gnoma:
- Supabase — hosts our database and authentication. Your account and workout data are stored here.
- Anthropic — powers AI workout generation. The text of your workout prompt (and, for Gnoma Rx users with stats entered, a personalization profile) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce a structured workout. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Data Retention
We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data — including workouts, baseline stats, and subscription records held in our database — is deleted. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, payment records held by Stripe).
Your Rights & Choices
- Access and update. You can view and edit your stats and workouts at any time from within the app.
- Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Account. This action cannot be undone.
- Cancel your subscription. You can cancel Gnoma Rx at any time; access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Children's Privacy
Gnoma is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
